Check thecoolant levelinthe reservoir when
the engine iscold. Ifthe coolant levelisbelow
the MIN level

add coolant uptothe MAX level

reservoir isempty ,check thecoolant levelinthe
radiator whentheengine iscold. Ifthere is
insufficient coolantinthe radiator, fillthe radiator
with coolant uptothe filler opening andalso add
it to the reservoir uptothe MAX level

Tighten thecap securely afteradding engine
coolant.
If the cooling systemfrequently requires
coolant, haveitchecked byaNISSAN
dealer.

when theengine ishot.
. Never remove theradiator capwhen
the engine ishot. Serious burns
could becaused byhigh pressure
fluid escaping fromtheradiator.
. Avoid directskincontact withused
coolant. Ifskin contact ismade,
wash thoroughly withsoap orhand
cleaner assoon aspossible.
. Keep coolant outofreach ofchil-
dren andpets.
Engine coolant mustbedisposed ofproperly .
Check yourlocal regulations.

1. Park thevehicle onalevel surface andapply
the parking brake.
2. Run theengine untilitreaches operating
temperature.
3. Turn offthe engine. Waitmore than10
minutes forthe oiltodrain backinto
the oilpan.
4. Remove thedipstick andwipe itclean.
Reinsert itall the way.
5. Remove thedipstick againandcheck theoil
level. Itshould bewithin therange
